To the Iranian opposition — to those of you who are sincere in your wish to offer millions of Iranians a different future. This is not the moment to debate whether Iran’s future should be a monarchy, a republic, or something else. What matters now is that you face a historic moment — a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity — to put aside your differences and bring freedom to the millions of Iranians who live in fear and uncertainty as events unfold around them. You have the power, and the responsibility, to carry the torch of liberty through this time of darkness. What the Iranian people need is one leadership — your united leadership. No group, no matter how determined, can achieve this alone. For 47 years, each of you has walked alone. And for 47 years, you have failed — alone. Meanwhile, millions of Iranians have paid the price: in prison cells, in graveyards, and in exile. This is no longer about political brands or ideological purity. It’s about reclaiming a nation’s dignity — before it’s lost for good. You don’t need to agree on everything. But you must agree on this: the people deserve a united front. Convene. Speak. Build a common roadmap. Show Iranians — and show the world — that you can do the one thing this regime has always feared most: Stand together. It is only when you become we that tyranny will tremble to its foundations. The State of Israel, despite my repeated calls for coordination, has chosen to roll the dice. Whether that was right or wrong, history will judge. But the dice has been cast — and only you can seize this moment. Let us ensure that the blood of innocent civilians, shed in both Iran and Israel, will not be in vain — that it will give future generations of Iranians and Israelis the security and peace they deserve. My door remains open as an independent voice. I stand ready to assist in any way I can. خطاب به مخالفان جمهوری اسلامی، به آنانی که با صداقت خواهان آینده‌ای متفاوت برای میلیون‌ها ایرانی هستند: اکنون زمان آن نیست که بر سر شکل آینده ایران، پادشاهی باشد یا جمهوری یا هر نظام دیگری، بحث و جدل کنیم. آنچه اهمیت دارد، این است که در برابر لحظه‌ای تاریخی قرار گرفته‌اید؛ فرصتی بی‌تکرار برای کنار گذاشتن اختلافات و گشودن راه آزادی برای میلیون‌ها ایرانی که در هراس و بلاتکلیفی، نظاره‌گر رویدادهای اطراف خود هستند. شما هم قدرت دارید و هم مسوولیت. تنها شما می‌توانید مشعل آزادی را در این دوران تاریک به دوش بکشید. آنچه مردم ایران به آن نیاز دارند، یک رهبری منسجم است؛ رهبری متحد شما. هیچ گروهی، حتی اگر مصمم باشد، به‌تنهایی از پس این مأموریت برنمی‌آید. در این چهل‌وهفت سال، هر یک از شما جداگانه حرکت کردید. و جدا مانده و در تنهایی خودتان شکست خوردید. در این میان، میلیون‌ها ایرانی بهای این تفرقه را پرداختند؛ در زندان‌ها، در گورستان‌ها، و در تبعید. مساله دیگر رقابت بر سر نام‌ها و شعارهای سیاسی نیست. موضوع، بازپس‌گیری شأن و کرامت یک ملت است، پیش از آنکه برای همیشه از دست برود. لازم نیست بر سر همه‌چیز توافق داشته باشید. اما باید بر سر یک نکته به تفاهم برسید: مردم ایران شایسته یک صف متحد هستند. با یکدیگر گفتگو کنید، گرد هم بیایید، و یک نقشه راه مشترک برای آینده‌ای پایدار تدوین کنید. به مردم ایران، و به جهان، نشان دهید که می‌توانید کاری را انجام دهید که همیشه کابوس این رژیم بوده است: در کنار یکدیگر بایستید. فقط زمانی که «من»ها به «ما» تبدیل شوند، بنیان‌های استبداد خواهد لرزید. دولت اسرائیل، با وجود دعوت‌های مکرر من برای هماهنگی، تصمیم گرفت دست به این اقدام بزند. این‌که این تصمیم درست بوده یا نه، به داوری تاریخ سپرده خواهد شد. اما تاس انداخته شده و این تنها شما هستید که می‌توانید از این لحظه بهره بگیرید. نگذاریم خون بی‌گناهان، چه در ایران و چه در اسرائیل، بی‌ثمر ریخته شود. بگذاریم این خون، ضامن امنیت و آرامش نسل‌های آینده در هر دو کشور باشد. درِ خانه‌ من، به‌عنوان صدایی مستقل، همچنان باز است. من آماده‌ام هر کمکی که بتوانم انجام دهم. اما انتخاب این مسیر با شما است؛ نه به‌خاطر من، نه به‌خاطر خودتان، بلکه به‌خاطر میلیون‌ها انسانی که امیدشان را به شما بسته‌اند. با نهایت فروتنی علیرضا اخوندی

To the leadership of the Islamic Republic - Leave. Iranian people deserve better.

جهان نفس خود را حبس کرده است در حالی که راکت‌ها و بمب‌ها از هر سو فرو می‌ریزند. افکار من با مردم ایران است — مردمی که نزدیک به پنجاه سال است گروگانِ افراطیونی هستند که مسئولیت کامل آنچه امروز شاهدش هستیم بر عهده آنهاست. بگذارید امیدوار باشیم که این بخشی از یک استراتژی هوشمندانه برای فردایی بهتر است، اما متأسفانه هیچ نشانه‌ای از آن دیده نمی‌شود. کسانی که صدای آژیرها را پیش از بارش بمب‌ها شنیده‌اند یا به سوی پناهگاه دویده‌اند، می‌دانند این لحظات چه وحشتی دارد — هم در اسرائیل و هم در ایران. ما باید در برابر وسوسه‌ی تحلیل‌های ساده‌انگارانه مقاومت کنیم. در این لحظه، آنچه اهمیت دارد وضوح در هدف و شجاعت برای رویارویی با آینده است.

The world is holding its breath as rockets and bombs rain down. My thoughts are with the Iranian people — held hostage for nearly 50 years by fanatics who bear full responsibility for what we are witnessing today. Let us hope this is part of a thoughtful strategy for a better tomorrow. Sadly, there is no sign of that. Anyone who has ever heard the wail of sirens before the bombs fall, or had to run for shelter, knows the terror faced by those enduring this now — in both Israel and Iran. We must resist the temptation of naive speculation. For now, what matters most is clarity of purpose — and the courage to face what lies ahead.

رهبری در لحظات بحران آشکار می‌شود. آنجاست که مشخص می‌شود چه کسی استوار می‌ایستد و چه کسی شهامت ساختن آینده‌ای متفاوت را دارد؛ آینده‌ای که در آن استبداد به زباله‌دان تاریخ سپرده شده و آزادی جایگاه شایسته‌اش را بازمی‌یابد. دیشب، آنچه سال‌ها درباره‌اش هشدار داده شده بود، بالاخره آغاز شد. آیا این آغاز پایان است؟ میلیون‌ها ایرانی امیدوارند. اما اکنون زمان جشن گرفتن نیست؛ زمان آماده شدن است. نزدیک به ۴۷ سال است که مردم ایران جنگ، تحریم و رژیمی را تحمل کرده‌اند که زندگی، کرامت و امید را از آنان گرفته است. اکنون که پیامدها به خانه رسیده‌اند، رژیم تلاش می‌کند پشت همان مردمی پنهان شود که سال‌ها آن‌ها را سرکوب کرده است. اجازه بدهید روشن بگویم: این جنگ علیه مردم ایران نیست. این تسویه‌حساب با کسانی‌ست که ایران را به زندان و خاورمیانه را به میدان جنگ تبدیل کردند. سلامی. باقری. شمخانی. و دیگران نیز در راهند. به مردم شجاع ایران: اجازه ندهید این لحظه تاریخی از دست برود. ما، چه در تبعید و چه در داخل کشور، همراه شما هستیم. استوار بمانید. سرافراز باشید. آزاد زندگی کنید. خامنه‌ای – زمانت تمام شده. کیش و مات نزدیک است.

Leadership is revealed in moments of crisis. It is then we see who stands firm – and who dares to imagine a different future. A future where tyranny is buried, and freedom claims its rightful place. Last night, what many had warned about for years finally began. Is this the beginning of the end? Millions of Iranians hope so. But this is not the time to celebrate. It's time to prepare. For nearly 47 years, the Iranian people have endured war, sanctions, and a regime that has robbed them of life, dignity, and hope. Now, as the consequences come home, the regime tries to shield itself behind the very people it has betrayed and oppressed. Let me be clear: This is not a war against the Iranian people. This is a reckoning with those who turned Iran into a prison – and the Middle East into a battlefield. Salami. Bagheri. Shamkhani. And others will follow. To the people of Iran: Do not let this moment pass. Many of us – across the world and inside the country – are with you. Stand firm. Stand proud. Stand free. Khamenei – your time is up. Checkmate is near.
